** This is VERY important if you are considering attending District Day Camp or Council Resident Camp in 2012! **

The BSA YPT course DOES NOT cover you for these camps in TX in 2012! This super-duper YPT that makes you compliant with the new Texas state regulations (NOT because of new BSA rules) will be taught at Roundtable this Thursday. This course CANNOT be taken online! I HIGHLY recommend that as Cub Scout Leaders you attend this meeting so you are certified. However, ALL parents who attend Day or Resident camps with their Scouts will be required to have this training. I suspect that going forward in 2013, the BSA will adapt a YPT course that will satisfy this new state requirement.

From Sean Apostalo our District Executive - Day Camp for our District has been announced! It’s June 11-15 at the LDS Church in Weatherford (near Weatherford HS on Bethel). Graham is about 1:45 from St. Francis! Cost is $85 and financial aid is available. See details in calendar. If I’m not mistaken, the theme is Dinosaurs!
